Bullen Ultrasonics Invests in R&D Center

DAYTON BUSINESS JOURNAL - A family-owned manufacturer will expand its Technology Development Center to support critical industry sector growth. The expansion entails a $14 million investment and is supported by JobsOhio as well as the city of Eaton.
Eaton-based Bullen Ultrasonics will expand its TDC to support industry sector growth in semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace composites and micro-electromechanical systems. With the support of JobsOhio, the state’s private economic development corporation, and the city of Eaton, the over $14 million investment by Bullen will not only expand the TDC but grow new technologies advancing research and development efforts. The project also likely will result in new jobs.
Bullen Ultrasonics will receive up to $1 million in assistance from a JobsOhio R&D Center Grant to support precision machining manufacturing and other advanced technologies. The R&D Center Grant Program was created to facilitate new and expanding strategic corporate R&D centers in Ohio. Such R&D centers support the development and commercialization of emerging technologies and products.
